LinkedIn Podcast Network Has Now Opened
LinkedIn is one of a kind in the business world. Now, they have exceeded members’ expectations in the professional social media platform. LinkedIn has now opened its own podcast network.
Why LinkedIn opened its own podcast network?
You already know from a recent post that LinkedIn is all about careers. LinkedIn has launched a new podcast network to help navigate their job hunts and workplace issues. “We have heard from members how much they count on podcasts and their favorite podcast hosts to deliver insights that help them stay ahead,” the company says.
How do you get to the podcasts?
That part is easy. You head on over to the LinkedIn Podcast Network, where you can find a handful of podcasts. Even though the links on that page will direct you to Apple podcasts, you can see LinkedIn podcasts on all other major podcast providers. Spotify is not as obvious, but it is there. You just have to search for the podcast name.
Because the LinkedIn Podcast Network is new, some of the Microsoft-owned company’s podcasts have enough choices to keep you busy for more than a few days. Others are waiting to launch.
Verizon is the official featured sponsor.
What kind of podcasts will be available?
According to MUO, The new LinkedIn Podcast Network will produce podcasts focusing on all-things business, be that tech, hiring processes, mental health, workplace management, creating ideas, or anything else its listeners want.
Initially, LinkedIn Presents will deliver eight new shows alongside four LinkedIn News Podcasts.
LinkedIn plans to add more podcast titles in the coming months, expanding its coverage to capture more of what the business world is all about. Each podcast will align with LinkedIn’s existing style. Other users build conversations around content.
It is all about audio content
The LinkedIn Podcast Network will be all about audio content. To begin with, the professional social media giant will host the platform’s producers and influencers as hosts.
Initially, the programs will focus on those looking for professional content. We’ll have to wait and see how the platform evolves, but the thoughts are that entrepreneurship tips and even mental health or the explanation of how a hiring process works could capture members’ interests. I can’t wait to see how they do evolve, can you?
