How it works

Once Activewords is downloaded on your PC (sorry no Mac users yet), you have to set up the phrases you want Activewords to open certain information.  For example, let’s say you’re typing an email to a co-worker and you need to copy and paste something from a document you created earlier.  Instead of trying to remember where the document is and locating it, all you have to do is type in the phrase you set up for that certain document, and tap the spacebar twice.  And like magic, the entire document is automatically pasted into the email.

You can set up anything you constantly type such as your address, phone number, web address, etc…  just give it a phrase such as ‘add’ for your address then simply type add, tap your space bar twice and voilà your address is automatically generated for you in any application you are in.

Opening Programs

Activewords can open programs from any application you are in.  Simply type in the phrase you created for a certain program and tap the spacebar twice and the program opens instantaneously ready for you to locate information or add information.  If you have a website you frequent often for information you can even set that up to open with a phrase.
