There are a few things to think about when purchasing software.
* Compatibility – You need software that is compatible with the people you will be working with or sending information to.
* Comfortability – How set are you with your ways with software and are you willing to learn something new?
* Cost – Do you want to own your software or rent your software
If you’re a corporation that’s not trying to use the latest and greatest of software, you might want everyone to use the same software, so you don’t run into capability issues. Comfort is something that is developed over time and with that comfort comes a level of speed.
Cost- If the software is going to make your life easier why not pay for something that makes your life less stressful? Having tried many email clients and seeing that they are all pretty much the same, it was good to see some much-needed innovation in this space.
There is some great software that is Free! A lot of that software is open source and they are paid by donations. A lot of the big names in open source software is great for home users, startup companies, nonprofits, or companies that just love supporting open source innovations.
