How to go about choosing software

There are a few things to think about when purchasing software.
* Compatibility – Choose software that’s is compatible with the people you will be working with or sending information to.
* Comfortability – How set are you with your ways with software and are you willing to learn something new?
* Cost – Do you want to own your software, or rent your software?
If you’re in a corporate environment that is not trying to use the latest and greatest of software, you might want to walk the same line,  that way you don’t run into capability issues. Comfort is something that is developed over time and with that comfort comes a level of speed.
Cost –  Now if anyone knows me, they know, if software is going to make my life easier I am the first to pay.  Having tried many email clients and seeing that they are all pretty much the same, it was good to see some much-needed innovation in this area.
Now there is some great software that has been free to the whole world. A lot of that software is open source and they are paid by donations. A lot of the big names in open source software is great for home users, start-up companies, nonprofits, or companies that just love supporting open source innovations.
Bottom line, make sure the software you use is compatible, it is user friendly and you decide if the cost is right for you.
